Our ‘in-house’ training programme will last between 6-12 months (dependant on your abilities), during this time you will receive tailored and dedicated training, which will cover every role of a ‘Pum Team Member’ position.
You will actively work each role in order to master every position of the restaurant perfectly.
This is integral to your own credibility in front of the team you will have to future manage, and enable you to be a strong leader in the rough times.
At the end of your training period, you will switch between shifts both front of house and in the kitchen, under the supervision of the Manager in charge. Your responsibilities on the Manager's days off will be to take charge of the sales outlet.ager's days off, you will be in charge of the sales outlet.
During your shifts on the floor, a subtle yet strong commercial dimension will be expected from you: conveying PUM passion to the customers, ensuring their brand loyalty, bringing forward the specifics of the PUM concept to encourage curiosity for discovery, all the while respecting the customers' wellbeing.
On top of the work you will have to perform during your time working the ‘Pum Team Member's’ role, you will gradually begin to handle additional tasks, with the support of your Manager; for example, ordering supplies, buying ingredients, commercial actions, and most importantly learn how to manage your team.
You will be the driving force of your Team Members, and will ensure that Pum procedures are always respected. You will learn to delegate, communicate, and engage your team as well as learning how to build a loyal workforce by learning to listen, deal, identify and diffuse conflict and bad feeling.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have a good standard of education and some relevant professional work experience.
You will have to possess strong responsibility and commitment skills, be able to drive and motive a team for a common goal,
Some travel and cultural experience and interest preferred.
