Vin de Pays Comté Tolosan
The vineyards are located in Gascony, land of sun and musketeers. The products are harvested, vinified, aged and bottled by PIERRE LAPLACE. Composes of 50 % Gamay, 25 % Tannat, 25 % Cabernet Franc, vinification is done by letting the grape skins remain in contact with the juice for a few hours, with a fermentation at controlled temperature of 15 to 17°C. Aging in vats lasts for 6 months, the wine is bottled after that. Superb raspberry robe with ruby shades. The nose is pleasant and intense, develops floral and citrus fruit shades as well as a note of banana which adds complexity. The broad taste shows a freshness equal to no others.
Wine pairing: An easy-drinking wine, should be drunk cold with cooked pork meats, grilled meats and other summer meals.
